Hoya Longifolia originates from the Philippines and is a great beginners house plant, as it is very easy to care for and will tell you when it needs watering. A lovely trailing plant with speckled leaves which produces gorgeous fuzzy star shaped flower clusters that have a sweet caramel scent. Hoya is a great choice for a gift as they are super easy going, would also be well suited to someone with a busy lifestyle. 

How to care for your Hoya -

Water: Less is more when it comes to watering; we like to wait until the leaves pucker slightly.

Light: This Hoya grows best in very bright light. Southern exposure is best, but it can adapt to east or west locations in front of a window. In low light, a Hoya Carnosa plant may never bloom. 

Humidity: They like high humidity and would be perfect for a bathroom or kitchen.

Temperature: Average room temperature is fine.
